Busy IN Guatemala

This week has been HOT. We are busy doing work on Pamela Ann.

Pictures of different things happening around us.

A local Guatemalan friend is using his tour boat to move post for a new dock down the river.

Here a limb fell from an old tree and it had a bee hive in it. This guy is getting the honey.

A new friend. Using his good English taking to us.

Lots of cows travel through here.

Some of the bikes parked at one of the banks. Around the first and the fifteenth of every month the lines are long at all banks. Some are open on Saturdays and Sundays.

A Week-End In Guatemala

Sorry we haven’t got to doing a blog. Been busy trying to get our life back in order. Having two places to live is a blessing and a curse. Having our little house out in Kansas was not planned. We were out there visiting our son when it fell in our hands. The virus was not in our plan ether when what ever happen in China that turned the virus plague lose on us. Now travel was hard and not cheap. We live on cheap, We had trouble getting out of here and it has been 9 months now finding our way back. Its been weeks with the mold and mildew and the Caribbean sun but our old home built boat is livable again. We have put in all our blogs we quit drinking a long time ago and we don’t smoke dope and walk around calling this Paradise. What we love about being here is how different life can be here along with loving living on our boat. In town or any town there are people trying to sell you something.

Here it hanging seats and hammocks.

Big Sale

Here in this store they have more manikins than clothes I think.

Here they ride the whole family on their bikes

Some of the people that live in the far away villages come to town in pickup trucks. We think at least 35 people in this truck up front.
